So far I am not impressedAug 18 2014Nursing
So far I am not impressed. I have not been able to make it past the admissions process yet. I am a veteran. I have made multiple phone calls to my admissions advisor & the military veterans resource center requesting a call back with no response. Getting a hold of anyone is like pulling teeth. So I call the admissions office who transfers me to someone, who in turn transfers me to someone else, only to be transferred back to the initial person. When I finally reach someone in the military veterans resource center, they are not very helpful, friendly, or enthused in assisting me. I feel like I am having to jump through hoops to get into the university & I am having to jump through hoops to finish the next steps for registering for classes. I am trying to find someone who can assist me with the next steps after the acceptance process, but so far no luck. I was told around 8:30 am that my call would be returned by the military veterans resource center & it's going on 11am & still no word. This is not a good way I feel I'm starting off. There seems to be no guidance or assistance so far after you are accepted. I will keep seeing how this goes, but I am already getting the impression that I may have to take my time & money elsewhere. Will come back with update to see if anything changes, but this is my review & rating for right now.

I attended StDec 09 2013Archaeology
I attended St. Petersburg Community College, in Tarpon Springs, Florida (near Tampa). I earned my AA degree there and then applied to transfer to University of West Florida. I was accepted.

It was very simply to get in once I had my AA degree. I tried before I had my AA but was turned down. I am glade that I was originally turned down because the educational quality is similar to the community college.
SAT: 700 Male

I earned an AJul 27 2013Electrical Engineering
I earned an A.A., which in Florida gives you precedence to get into any public university. UWF is currently too easy to get in and I have a feeling they will become stricter in the future.

Its extremely easy to get inApr 25 2012Biology
Its extremely easy to get in. I actually applied a couple months before school started and instantly got in. Even criminals and people with horrible GPAs get in. This school is a joke.
